This course, designed for first responders, is a training program to teach techniques for calming down agitated or aggressive individuals in crisis situations. The aim is to peacefully resolve conflicts and minimize the need for force while keeping crews safe. The focus will be on active listening skills, verbal communication strategies, and understanding non-verbal cues.
