Marcia Helleckson-Rosecky began her career at Middleton Volunteer Fire Department in 1996 and joined the City of Brookfield Fire Department in the spring of 1997. In 2008, Marcia went on duty disability due to service-related cancer. At the age of 41, Marcia lost her long and courageous battle with the disease on February 27, 2016. Marcia was a respected and beloved member of the department. This fund was established on behalf of Marcia's family to support and encourage women to pursue their dreams of becoming firefighters.
