Please help Pete with his Treatment of and Recovery from Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer
Dear family members, friends, and community members:
Pete Fahrenkrug is a husband, father of 6, grandpa to 11. He is his family’s rock and has always been a giver. He will always answer the phone (especially when one of the grandkids calls!) and will drop everything he has in order to help. Pete is a military veteran of 11 years, having served in the Army as a Senior Scout in the Scout Platoon of 82nd Airborne Division. He then proudly served as a firefighter/paramedic with the City of Oshkosh Fire Department for 27 years until his retirement just last year. I am sure they miss his cooking at the firehouse!
On January 17th, Pete and his family learned some devastating news. Pete was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer, already stage 4 and metastasized to his liver. He has begun chemotherapy treatments and has maintained his positive attitude and continues to be the rock for his family. As a strong and tightly knit family, we are heartbroken. We are also determined to support Pete and his immediate family through this critical time of illness, treatments, and recovery.
We are planning a benefit fundraising event for Pete to help offset the substantial medical costs associated with treatment of and recovery from Pancreatic Cancer. Our Benefit for Pete is scheduled for Saturday, March 26th 12pm at the Old 41 Saloon in Neenah, WI. We are collecting monetary donations, as well as a variety of raffle prizes for our silent auction during the event. We also wish to extend an invitation to join us for an afternoon when we are hoping many of Pete’s friends, family, and supporters will gather for some fun, food, drinks, and lots of laughs!
With your generous support, we expect this benefit to be a smashing success!
For charitable contributions, please make checks payable to: Tristin Fahrenkrug. On memo line indicate: Benefit for Pete Fahrenkrug.
Thank you, very sincerely, for considering a donation to our benefit fund and please join us for our event Saturday, March 26th at the Old 41 Saloon in Neenah.
With Sincere Gratitude,
Family of Pete Fahrenkrug
