Jennifer Andrea Egan (Jen), at the tender age of 37, passed away unexpectedly June 18th 2024. Jen has two beautiful children, Skylee (12) and Logan (8) and her high school sweetheart, Ryan who will miss her deeply. Ryan is a member of Greendale Local 1777.

Everyone who had the opportunity to meet Jen learned quickly what an empathetic, loving person she was. “Throughout the great times and bad Jen was my confidant and partner in crime for most of our lives. She had fire and drive when it came to music and even more so when it came to our children, Skylee and Logan. As a mother, Jen bent over backwards to plan the birthday party or get that one extra special thing right just for you. She was the foundation of our little family. It is with great sadness and grief that we must now say good bye to her.”

Jen was an influential and original musician in the Milwaukee area, playing keyboard and vocals as well as guitar, she created multiple bands and gained a following of supporters and admirers for her love to bring people together through the instrument of music. Though she has touched so many lives through her music community, she had a special place in her heart for the underprivileged children of Milwaukee. She taught as a reading interventionist with a strong desire to help young children believe in themselves and succeed in life through reading.

As many know, the love of a teaching often comes with the biggest heart. She often extended more money into providing extra materials and resources for the children she taught than the schools could provide.

With her absence much of the community is wondering when and where will a service be held. Given the tender ages of her children and sudden unexpected circumstances of her death the family has chosen to have a private ceremony.

To help support Jen, we are hoping to raise enough funding to offset the financial burden on her family.

Please consider a gift of your comfort and know that it is received with deep gratitude by her loving family.

My sincere appreciation to each contributor and condolences to all those grieving her loss.
