Support the Shields Family in their Time of Need

With the permission of the family this is official donation page for the Shields Family.
It is with heavy hearts that New Berlin Local 4724 comes to our PFFW Brothers & Sisters asking for your support. On Monday, March 17th, 2025, Lieutenant Jason Shields lost his 17-year-old son Quinnlan in a tragic accident. Lieutenant Shields has spent over 30 years serving our community, has been an active member of our union since it’s inception, and was L4724 President for 10 years. Therefore, Quinn grew up in and around our department and was well known to all our members. He was a junior at New Berlin Eisenhower, where he played football, golf, and was a member of the bowling team. Quinn was an honor roll student, participated in robotics, and was currently enrolled in the dual enrollment program in engineering, which he planned on pursuing after high school. Quinn enjoyed hunting, going to concerts, and hanging with his friends and family. Quinn was so proud of his dad and loved to be around the firehouse. His kindness and generosity will be remembered by everyone.
Our hearts are broken, and we are devastated for the Shields family. Any donations are appreciated and will help the family through this difficult time. We want to thank the Professional Firefighters of Wisconsin Charitable Foundation, Inc for their support and assistance. With the permission of the Shields family, this is the official donation page.
